The main activities of the Institute are:- Consultations
during implementation of new technologies, materials and castings;
- Manufacturing of small series by:
- Grey cast iron grades GG 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 (according to BDS 1799 / DIN 1964);
- Nodular cast iron grades GGG 400, GGG 500
(BDS 6990 / DIN 1693) with a net weight to 300 kg;
- Steel grades 25L, 35L, 45L (BDS 3492-75), 40Õ, Õ18Í9Ò (BDS 6550), GS45 (DIN
1681) and GX6CrNi 189 (DIN 17445);
- Working out of metal and wood pattern-core equipment;
- Manufacturing of following
subsidiary foundry materials:
- graphitizing complex inoculants;
- inoculants for nodular cast irons;
- steel deoxidants;
- coatings and additivies for moulds;
- quartzite based lining material for refractory lining of induction
furnaces;
- degassing briques "Degal" designed for refinding of aluminium alloy metals from gaseous and hard non-metal inclusions;
- a range of cover-refining fluxes designed for treatment of aluminium, copper and zinc alloys;
- crucible coatings for aluminium
and zinc alloys melting;
- coated sand designed for moulds and cores.
