Lesilmach-98 JSC, is established in 1980 to supply Bulgarian pulp & paper industry with spare parts and equipment. Privatized in 1998. Legal
status - Public limited company.
Company is situated 6 km west from Silistra, Bulgaria, neighboring Danube river cargo port. Road and railway infrastructure is available.
The
company employs some 100 persons incl. 5 high experienced mechanical engineers and 4 economists. The workers are well skilled and motivated to do their job with responsibility.
Production facilities include:- Metal processing and assembling workshop - equipped with unique metal processing machines capable for manufacturing of heavy-duty
equipment and spares for it. There are vertical lathes available for diameter up to 3200 mm, screw-cutting lathe with center distance 8000 mm, two column milling-planer machine with table
dimensions 2000 x 6000 mm, tooth milling machines capable to produce tooth wheels with diameter up to 2000 mm and module 20 mm, several horizontal boring-drilling-milling machines, grinding
machines, eccentric and assembling presses, etc. There are also facilities for metal sheet production such as cutting machines (guillotine), gas and plasma cutting machines, bending and
angle-bending machines, welding equipment - incl. CO2 and TIG machines.
- Foundry - equipped with: Four high frequency induction furnaces PI-1600 - 1 pc., PI-600 1 pc.,
PI 160 - 2 pcs. Capacity - gray cast iron (GG) - 600 MT/year, carbon steel - 400 MT/year; alloyed steel (Cr, Ni) - 110 MT/Year. Mass per unit 0,9 up to 960 kg. Molding and fettling equipment
available. The main advantage of casting workshop is production of high quality stainless castings using lost-wax (investment casting) technology.

International Quality Management Standard - ISO 9001:2000 Certification body - Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance; Certificate # 368229.
Production range:- Wide
range of refiner plates for paper and hardboard industry produced of high quality stainless steel - 440 C acc. to AISI, under lost wax technology (investment casting) - domestic market and
export to Poland.
