Nemitsas Ltd., certified ISO 9001:2000, is facing today with confidence the challenge of the 21st century as an integrated Group with industrial and commercial activities, employing over 100 persons and proudly owing one of the most modern foundries and manufacturing plants, constantly aiming towards higher achievements for the benefit of the company, its employees and the community in general. The fully computerized foundry plant enables Nemitsas Ltd. to manufacture and export worldwide high quality grey cast iron and bronze castings, water pumping equipment, fire & water hydrants, municipal castings, cast parts for the building industry, at very competitive prices. The foundry operates on the Seiatsu principle. The automatic moulding line was supplied by HWS - Germany. There is also a mechanical moulding line with BMM machines for heavier and bigger castings. The capacity of the foundry is 5000 tons per year. The pattern shop is an integral part of the business, providing periodical repairs and alterations to customers' patterns as well as designing and fabricating new pattern equipment in wood, resin and aluminum alloys.
