For more than 50 years activity Diesel Engine Factory Andoria has produced 700 thousand engines with total power exceeding 42 mln hp. Andoria has own foundry, established in 1964. The foundry produces castings of gray iron class 200 & 250 and nodular iron class 450-10 for diesel engines. The weight range of the castings is 0.5 - 200 kg. The assortment of manufactured castings includes cylinder blocks, cylinder heads, fly wheels, fly wheel housings, water & oil pump housings, collectors, toothed gears, cast parts for generating sets, pump and drive assemblies, and compressors. Casting mould preparation is a manual process based around an automatic Heinrich Wagner Sinto moulding line. The patterns for casting are made of wood, resin and metal.
