Kerch Metallurgical Plant is a renown manufacturer of railroad fasteners and switches for the biggest railroads of Ukraine and CIS countries, steel enameled cookware, and foundry production for numerous mining and smelting, construction, chemical, oil-processing, pulp and paper and other industrial enterprises. The Foundry workshop has estimated capacity of 82 900 tons per year cast-iron castings and 8 200 tons per year steel castings. The weight range is from 2-3 kg up to 10 tons. The main products of the foundry are grey iron castings - manhole covers for road-building and repair, municipal communications, stove casting, corrugated flooring tile, wedge gate valves, flanges, spare-parts, carbon and low alloyed steel castings. The workshop manufactures production equipment for steel and cast-iron pouring at metallurgical plants as well.
