Khartsyzsk Engineering Plant (Universal) is a renown Ukrainian manufacturer of:- the fire-fighting water-foamy
equipment and armature;
- trunks, fire hydrants, head connectings, catch items, foam generators, ladders, extinguishers;
- decorative park and street pillars, lighting equipment and
ornamental fences from aluminium alloys.
The aluminium foundry produces castings made in permanent metal molds (~80%), in sand molds (~15%) and through high pressure die casting (~5%). The
annual capacity of the aluminium foundry is about 3000 tons. The ferrous foundry produces cast iron and steel castings up to 600 kg using green-sand and lost-foam moulding methods.
