The microstructure of Cr-Mn-Mo steel alloyed with 1.78% N is investigated after isothermal annealing in the range of 500-1000°C. The time-temperature curve of the precipitation process beginning is plotted. The kinetic of the process is investigated by means of automatic image analysis.
